IP EXPO Nordic returns to Stockholm & includes Cyber Security

Now located at Stockholmsmässan, the two-day event takes place on the 20-21 September 2017 and features is international sub-event Cyber Security Nordic. Mr. Fredrik Reinfeldt, Former Prime Minister of Sweden, will be opening the conference.

For the second year in a row, IP EXPO Nordic brings an exclusive range of high profiled speakers to the Swedish capital that visitors would normally pay to see at other events.

With more speakers, more exhibitors, more world-class seminars and a new venue to accommodate even more visitors, IP EXPO Nordic is set to be the ‘must-attend’ Nordic IT event of 2017.

The expo will continue to be free to attend, although a VIP ticket is available at cost this year and guarantees VIP holders a seat in the 7 theatres around the event.

The event focus on six different sub-events, which are all significant issues for the current Nordic IT-landscape: Cloud, Cyber Security, Networks & Infrastructure, DevOps, Open Source and the newest addition AI,Analytics & IoT, along with discussions around digitalisation, GDPR and the impact on enterprises and society.

“This year we have six key focus sub-events at IP EXPO Nordic, with a distinctive heavy focus on Cyber Security. It is a hot topic in Sweden these days and an important issue that concerns all of the Nordic countries”, said Bradley Maule-ffinch, EMEA Portfolio Director at IP EXPO.

Last year´s IP EXPO Nordic had over 3000 visitors, 70+ exhibitors and over 80 educational sessions. This year there is expected to be closer to 4000 IT and technology specialists in attendance, over 80 exhibitors and as many as 100 speakers; including senior level influencer from Google, Amazon, Cisco and Microsoft.

Among the speakers you will find Snorre Kjesbu from Cisco who will be giving the audience a chance to see the new Spark board live in action, Monty Widenius, Creator of MySQL and Open Source pioneer, Marta Piekarska, blockchain expert at Linux Foundation, Jay Tuck, famous for his book on the potential of an AI apocalypse and Michael Moltke who will be doing an instalment of a hacker’s confession, demonstrating in real time what hackers can do once they’re in your system.

Important topics such as GDPR, Cyber Security and AI dominate the 2017 program.
